Who We Are
Springfield at Whitney Oaks is an award-winning 55+ active adult community built by Pulte Homes and located within the Sacramento greater metropolitan area, just a short two-hour drive east of San Francisco.
With 868 single-family homes, we are a medium-sized, private community nestled in the highly sought-after Whitney Oaks development in Rocklin, California. We’re governed by a Homeowners Association managed by a volunteer Board of Directors. Day-to-day operations are taken care of by paid staff.
We enjoy on-site amenities that set us apart from other active-adult communities, with plenty of fitness and activities options to fill your days and evenings.
Do you want to stay in shape? We have two pools, an outdoor spa, two tennis courts, eight pickleball courts, and two bocce ball lanes. The tennis, pickleball, and bocce ball courts are lighted so residents can play in the evenings. We’re also surrounded by nine paved and decomposed granite walking trails with beautiful views of the Sacramento Valley. Whitney Oaks Trails was written by Springfield residents and includes local history and trail maps. Because our winters are mild, residents can enjoy most of these outdoor amenities year-round. Inside the Gables, our main clubhouse, there are two fitness rooms, one with aerobics equipment and the other with cardio equipment.
Maybe you have hobbies, want to meet with friends, or do fun indoor activities. Our two clubhouses have everything you need. The Gables has a welcoming lounge area where you can sit and enjoy coffee or tea with friends, or make new friends, a ballroom where social events and large activities are held, a crafts room where you can paint and make ceramics, and a business center with computers, internet access, a copier and a scanner. The Oaks has a billiards room, a lounge area, an activities area, and a card room. Both clubhouses have kitchens for residents to use to host gatherings.
